I’ve been thinking of this series for a few months. The
simple impact of a vanishing point on a flat horizon. The way a path invites
the viewer into a landscape.
All of these were done with one small piece of charcoal.
There’s not a lot of it left. All the panels are 600mm x 450mm. I stopped when
I ran out of panels. The images are underexposed to preserve detail.

camp of Burke and Wills.

"Mary Kathleen 3"
"Mary Kathleen 1"
"Eddington"
"Richmond"
"Sandalwood Hill" – North of Hughenden, south of
Stopem Blockem Range.
"White Mountains"
"White Mountains 2" – Wasn’t too sure where this
road was going, but it turned out to be heading in the right direction in the
end.
