Had a pleasant day yesterday doing a couple of portraits.
Henri Osiecki commissioned me to paint himself and his wife Vera. Here’s Henri in front of his computer in the sunroom –

And Vera in her kitchen. The charcoal I used for this was a
bit soft and consequently rather dark and hard. I’ll have to soften it in the
painting. I took a few years off her.
