Some Nice Pastels

These are a few pastel on charcoal on panel paintings that I did while working with Chris Fletcher. No deep messages, just some pretty art. First three done in Goomburra State Forest.

"Sylvesters"

The view towards Moogera from the lookout at Sylvesters. Hazy day.

"Mt. Walker"

A view from the lookout at Mt. Castle. Mt. Walker is the little triangle right of centre in the distance. I came over all Cezanne all of a sudden.

"In the Creek"

A few leaves float in the tannin-stained water of Dalrymple Creek. I drew this one while sitting in a chair in the water. Damn you Cezanne!

This next batch of four were drawn at Chris' place at Greenlands over a couple of days. They were all drawn from the same vantage point.
